Marion KAL

Now, that I finally got Hetty off the needles, I can think about my Marion cardigan for the MarionKAL. In the previous post, I mentioned that I wanted to participate in the MarionKAL. And yes, I have already knit Marion in purple but, it was with a yarn that I loathed. So, I am excited about knitting another in a yarn I like.

Initially, I was going to go with another bright color. Then, I decided to go with grey. Simply because it is so versatile and nice to look at. (I also had encouragement from my fellow Instagrammers to go with this color.) I will be using Cascade220 in silver grey.

My yarn arrived this past Friday. I really like the look of it and can just imagine the finished cardigan.

I haven’t really checked out the craft stores here in Durham, yet. So, my buttons came from Wal-Mart. However, I really like them and I thinks its going to compliment the cardigan really well.

I’ll keep you posted on the progress…

Extra Thoughts: Hopefully, I will be able to get some pretty decent pictures of my finished Hetty.2 cardigan. I no longer have my vast array of photographers so, I’m on my own. I may need to invest in a tripod/timer thingy.
